Stewardship is a commitment between you and God. All we are and all we have are gifts from God, and Stewardship is your heartfelt commitment to give back to the Church from the Gifts God has blessed you with, including your Time, Talent(s) and Treasure. Time: Attending Badarak, Volunteering, serving on a board or Parish Council are all commitments of Time.
Talent: Share your God given Talent with us. God has Blessed us all with one or more Talents. Sing in the Choir, or serve on the Altar, help us decorate, run for office or serve on a board. Whatever Talent God has blessed you with, bring Glory to God by sharing it with our Church.
Treasure: This is a financial commitment between you and God to give back a portion of your financial blessings to the Church. There is no specific amount. The Bible provides guidance on what the amount should be and references range from "your first best" to "10%" to a "sacrificial gift". You can find additional guidance in our Frequently Asked Questions sheet, available in the "Be a Steward" section of our church website. As always, we encourage you to prayerfully assess your stewardship means and give proportionately, as well as in accordance with your inner Christian calling.
